Robinson Elementary
2024 - 2025
October
It is incredible that we are already set for October. We have enjoyed getting to know your child(ren). We have established routines and procedures that help our day run smoothly.
Students are enjoying going to the Library, Makerspace, and Science Lab. They are also excited about our time with Ms. K our Musical Theater teacher each Tuesday. This month we add Young at Art and our Garden to the schedule. Thank you for your support of the Robinson PTSA and Manhattan Beach Education Foundation that allow for such robust programs.
Please make sure to read the weekly parent letters for Heggerty Bridge to Reading. Also, clear your child's homework folder regularly, and look over your child's work that comes home. Parent letters and returned work are an important way we communicate your child's progress.
Meet us at the classroom door each day and wait for us to open it for you. Children must be supervised by a parent or caregiver. The school does not provider supervision.
Send a snack with your child that they can open on their own and eat within a few minutes. Alternatively students may order a snack.
Visit our Class Dojo site at least once a week for teacher updates. The Login for each teacher is below.
Sharing is a very important part of Kindergarten. This helps build student confidence when speaking in front of a group. Each student has a specific share day each week. The Sharing Schedule is posted on this website under the Homework tab.
Here are a few important October dates:
Thursday 10/3 No School
Friday 10/11 Make up school pictures
Thursday 10/31 Halloween Parade and Kindergarten Rotations

Feel free to e-mail us, but messaging through ClassDojo will be more efficient and we will be able to get back to you more quickly. Important information, reminders, student photos and videos will be posted on the Class Story page.
